Intern Spotlight: Driving Innovation
MEET ROSS SMITH V:
Ross is a rising senior in the Sellinger Scholars Program at Loyola University Maryland, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance and has been recognized on the Dean’s List. He also earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Harford Community College in 2025 after graduating from The John Carroll School in 2023. Ross recently earned his Microsoft Master Excel certification and plans to complete the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, with a long-term goal to become a licensed financial advisor and ultimately earn the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Outside of academics and finance, Ross spent 11 years playing competitive travel ice hockey across Harford and Baltimore County. He also enjoys recreational golf and visiting different courses with friends and family.
With interests in research, planning, and innovation, Ross exemplifies our DHT Purpose to lead with knowledge, skill, and integrity. We are proud to have Ross on the team and are eager to see his continued growth and achievements!
